Strawberry Moringa
This tea is so wonderfully strawberry. It is packed with flavor and makes a great hot or iced tea.
-
Genmai Cha
This is a pretty standard genmaicha. It has a nice toasted flavor from the rice. I usually steep it at 170F for 1.5 minutes.
-
Matcha Genmaicha
I tried this tea, but I don't feel like the matcha powder really added anything to the regular genmaicha. Genmaicha has a strong, toasted flavor and the amount of matcha in the tea really isn't enough to overcome that flavor. I guess it adds additional caffeine?
-
Masala Chai
This is probably the best chai I've ever tried. It has strong flavors and tastes great with milk and sugar.
-
Green Chai
I steeped this tea for the full time in order to help the chai flavors develop, but it made the tea taste oversteeped. Adding sugar made cut the bitterness and brought out the chai flavors more.
-
White Darjeeling
I followed the steeping instructions (3min at 190F), but I feel like maybe I should have steeped it less because this tea tasted very astringent. It wasn't my cup of tea, I guess.
-
Cherry Green
I decrease the steep time to 1.5 minutes. While this stopped the green tea from being oversteeped, it made the cherry more of an aromatic component. Overall, I didn't hate this tea, but I wouldn't buy it or go out of my way to drink it. If you like cherries, you might like this tea, but keep in mind that it is not the same flavor you get when you eat fresh cherries.
-
Rooibos Orange
This tea had strong taste of rooibos with some orange notes. I added some sugar and this tea suddenly tasted like ribbon candy. It had a spiced orange flavor. I can't say that I loved it, but it was okay.
-
Guizhou Twist
This tea had a nice leafiness to it without it being overpowering. However, it was much more astringent than I prefer my green teas to be. I also didn't really notice the fruit or floral notes.
-
Coconut Grove Pouchong
This tea was very fragrant with the smell of coconut. the coconut flavor was not as strong as I'd prefer.
-
Orange
I steeped this tea for 3 minutes at 212F. It had a very fresh orange flavor. It had a natural orange flavor, not a artificial flavor, which was nice. However, this tea is a little bitter.
-
Sencha Premier
This tea tastes like sencha, which I like, but it's not any better than any other sencha. DO NOT follow the steeping instructions from Adagio. Two minutes is way too long to steep this tea.
-
Ooooh Darjeeling
I found this tea rather mild in flavor. It also wasn't very astringent. Astringency is one of the reasons I'm not a big fan of oolong teas. I noticed a little bit of the fruit flavor they mentioned, but it was not particularly bold. Overall, I didn't find this tea any more special than any other oolong.
-
Green Rooibos Citron
I wasn't expecting to like this tea as I generally don't enjoy rooibos. I guess I must have never tried green rooibos before. This tea had a strong orange flavor, but with a slightly orange rind taste. It was naturally sweet, so I didn't add any sugar.
-
Pi Lo Chun
I like trying different varieties of green tea, but I have to say that this one was probably my least favorite so far. Hot, I really couldn't find much flavor. After allowing the tea to cool, I noticed a floral scent, but there was an astringent aftertaste that was overwhelming the flavor even though I only steeped the tea for a short time. Maybe I would like this tea better brewed at a lower temperature. I also missed a slight leafiness that is usually found in green tea.
-
Ali Shan
As this tea said it should be brewed in a gaiwan, and I don't own one, I put a saucer over the top of my mug. This tea had a slight leafiness to it. I wasn't really tasting the honey, but for some reason I was getting an almost cinnamon aftertaste. I also felt like it had a creaminess to it. Overall, this tea was enjoyable, but there are others I prefer more.
-
Green Rooibos
This tea is slightly lemony and very mild. I much prefer green rooibos to red rooibos, but I'm still not that excited by green rooibos. I drank it cold because I thought it tasted nicer that way.
-
Earl Grey Lavender
I generally don't like Earl grey because the flavor reminds me of Froot Loops, but I really like Earl Grey in blends. The lavender in this Earl grey helps tone down the bergamot and the floral flavor matches nicely with the citrus. This tea is jam packed with flavor, so I wouldn't recommend it for people who enjoy more subtle flavors.
-
Decaf Strawberry
I wanted to enjoy this tea more than I did. As iced tea, I noticed a nice strawberry flavor at the beginning, but as I continued to sip, the bitterness of the tea became more and more prominent despite the sugar. I tried added a little milk, but it didn't really work for me. I would probably enjoy this tea more if there were more strawberries.
-
Hojicha
I enjoy hojicha. This is exactly what hojicha should taste like: nice and toasty! This particular hojicha doesn't really have anything about it that separates it from other brands' hojicha.
-
Jade Oolong
This oolong has a nice flavor, but I didn't think there was enough to differentiate it from other similar oolongs.
-
Chocolate Chai
Yum! This tea had all the flavors of chai plus chocolate! I used my big cup, so I let the tea steep longer (about 7 minutes) to ensure that it was flavorful enough. I think some people found this tea weak in flavor, so I would recommend steeping it longer. I drank this with milk and sugar.
-
Honeybush Hazelnut
If you like hazelnut and honeybush tea, you'll obviously like this. I am not a fan of hazelnut. I do like honeybush tea but I don't like the nutty/woody flavor added by the hazelnut. I brewed it for recommend 212F for 5 minutes.
-
Passionfruit Tango
Herbal teas with a lot of flavors can be hit or miss, but this one is a hit! When I opened my packet, there was a strong floral and spice scent that reminded me a bit of a really good smelling potpourri. I certainly wouldn't be mad if my house smelled like this tea!
After steeping, this tea was a lovely reddish pink. It still had a strong fruity/floral scent. It was a little tart from the hibiscus and had a lot of fruity flavor with a bit of cinnamon. I steeped this tea for 10 minutes at 212F and I added just a tiny bit of sugar.
-
Teaster Marshmallow
This tea had a really sweet, marshmallowy smell to it when brewed, but I found the taste to be a little too light for me. I added a slight but of sugar to try to bring out the favors more, but I still wasn't wowed. It wasn't bad, just a bit unmemorable.
-
Ginger Peach
When I opened the tea I smelled ginger and peaches. I think I may have use a little too much water because after steeping, I mainly tasted black tea. I don't know if there would have been more peach and ginger flavor if I had used a smaller cup, but I don't think I'd go out of my way to drink this tea.
-
Pomegranate Green
While I like green tea, I found this tea to be more raspberry than pomegranate to me.
-
Rooibos Lemon Cloud
This tea was an interesting blend of rooibos and lemon. I am not a big fan of rooibos, so I probably wouldn't drink it again.
-
Tea-tox
This tea mainly had an earthy, minty flavor. I can't say that I really appreciated this tea. I generally like 'health' teas, not for and supposed benefits, but because I bizarre enjoy the more medicinal flavors of ingredients such as licorice or eucalyptus. However, this tea just didn't really stand out.
-
Chocolate
This tea has a strong chocolate smell when you open the package. I steeped this tea at 212F for 5 minutes as I prefer stronger tea than I get after 3 minutes of steeping. I added a spoonful of sugar and some milk and it was a creamy chocolate treat.
-
Rooibos Jasmine
After steeping following the directions on the packet (5 minutes at 212F) I felt like all I tasted was rooibos tea. Rooibos has a strong, woody, almost raisin taste to me, so I think it must of overpowered any floral flavors. If you want a floral rooibos tea, you might be better off just buying plain rooibos and adding your own flavoring to suit your taste.
-
White Ayurvedic Chai
This tea smelled absolutely lovely when I opened it. I love the flavors in chai, so I was very excited to taste this tea.
I followed the directions to steep this tea for 5 minutes, but after the five minutes, I felt like the spice flavor was too weak, so I put my strainer back in for another 2minutes. After 7 minutes, the flavor of spice was more prominent, but the tea became a little more bitter than I prefer, so I added a dollop of honey.
Overall, I found the tea a little mediocre. It's not bad, but there are certainly better chais out there. There's really nothing that makes it stand out.
-
Hunan Gold
This is a very lovely green tea. I steeped this tea for less time than recommended (1.5 minutes at 180F) as I think 2-3 minutes is way too long for green tea unless you plan to make bitter leaf juice.
After steeping, this tea had a very mild leafy flavor without any bitterness. I enjoyed it so much I went in for a second steep (1 minute at 180F) and it was just as pleasant as the first cup.
-
Thai Chai
The first thing I smelled when opening my packet was coconut and cinnamon. The directions recommend 2 heaping spoonfuls of tea per 8oz cup, but I only received one spoonful of tea in my packet. As I don't own a tiny cup, I opted to steep this tea longer than recommended (8 min at 212F).
While hot, I mainly tasted and smelled cinnamon. After the tea cooled a little, I tasted a lot more coconut. I believe the ginger and cardamom flavors were present, but they acted more like backup to the stronger coconut and cinnamon flavors. The cinnamon and ginger also leave a spicy feeling on your tongue.
-
Fiery Cinnamon Spice
The scent of this tea was very strong, but the cinnamon flavor was very weak once brewed. I was a little disappointed and will stick with other brands when buying cinnamon tea.
-
Daydream
This tea is well balanced, Even though it uses many strongly flavored ingredients, no one of them overwhelms the flavor of the tea. They all come together into a very pleasant cup.
-
Casablanca Twist
I think this is a good tea for people who are not big fans of mint. The mint is light enough that it adds to the flavor of the tea instead of overwhelming it.
-
Rooibos Caramel
I think it tastes like raisins? I don't know if this is from the rooibos or something else. It wasn't gross, but I wouldn't buy it.
-
Foxtrot
If you like chamomile and peppermint, you will probably like this. I do not.
The balance between the chamomile and peppermint was good, but I did not taste any vanilla.
-
White Eternal Spring
I was not a fan of this tea. It smelled very floral and fruity, but the taste was extremely subtle. I found the contrast between the scent and flavor off putting and unpleasant. I would not drink this again.
-
White Strawberry
I am not a huge fan of white tea, but this one was pretty nice. It had a lot of strawberry pieces so it had a reasonable amount of strawberry flavor when brewed. I would recommend added a little sugar because the dried strawberries have a tartness to them.
-
Apricot Green
The flavor of the tea is balanced with a nice floral undertone. I would recommend only steeping this tea for 2 minutes at 180F or less so that the tea does not become overly bitter.
-
Ginger Peach Cinnamon
This is my favorite tea from tea guys. It tastes great as both a hot tea and an iced tea. The peach taste goes surprisingly well with cinnamon. I usually drink it with some sugar, but no milk.
-
Ti Kuan Yin
It was pretty amazing how much these leaves expanded! I brewed mine at a lower temperature than recommend (190F), but the tea still tasted really good. The tea also had a strong floral scent ( but no floral flavor).
-
Currant
This tea had a little bit of currant flavor but it wasn't that strong. I don't think I really enjoy black teas with fruity flavors.
-
Formosa Oolong
I think this tea wasn't too astringent when compared to other oolong teas.
-
Assam Harmony
This tea is fine. I enjoy black tea in the morning for the caffeine, so I was excited to try this tea. However, I did taste any of the flavors Adagio described. I added cream and sugar as was recommended and I wonder if that overwhelmed the other flavors. In the end, I didn't feel like this tea was special enough for me to want to order any more.
-
Chamomile
I am not a fan of chamomile, which is why I'm not scoring it higher. It did seem to be a good quality, but it just doesn't taste good to me

This tea has a very balanced taste and is a little naturally sweet.
-
Cha Cha
I was expecting more mint and lemongrass. I think there may be too much camomile for me.
-
Bella Luna Blue
I tasted more lemongrass than blueberry, but the color was very fun! If you add lemon, the tea will change color, too!
-
Irish Breakfast
It tastes like irish breakfast. I don't think it tastes particularly different than any other irish breakfast tea, but it seems like it is good quality. I drunk it with milk and sugar.
-
Jolly Roger
This tea has a great butterscotch flavor. Since I find sugarbush tea naturally sweet, I only added a tiny bit of sugar. I don't think I really tasted any banana, but I still enjoyed the tea
-
Pu-erh Spice
The spices in this tea worked well together and I didn't think it needed any sugar. I rinsed my pu-erh before brewing, but I don't think you need to with this tea.
-
Honeybush Pumpkin Chai
I think the flavor balance of this tea was poor. There was much too much cinnamon and it overpowered the other flavors and gave the tea a strange aftertaste.
-
Rooibos Almond
This tea was excellent. With a spoonful of sugar, it tasted just like marzipan. I'm not usually a fan of rooibos tea, but I would definitely drink this again.
-
Spiced Mate
I feel like this tea was a strange combination of bubblegum and spice drops. I also don't think the mate was able to contribute much flavor due to the heavy spices.
-
COLD 911 (ORGANIC)
This tea is very invigorating! It has a strong mint flavor, but the other ingredients add depth to the flavor. It definitely cleared my sinuses.
-
Mocha Nut Mate
I thought the flavors went together, but I didn't actually like the flavors. I like coffee, so the watery coffee flavor made me feel like I was drinking bad coffee from a fast food restaurant.
-
Pumpkin Spice
This tea smelled nice, but I wasn't satisfied with the taste. I felt like it had a weird watery squash undertone that was mildly off-putting. It also needed more spice.
-
Rooibos Cocomint
I surprisingly liked this tea because I don't like rooibos! It reminded me of a thin mint cookie.
-

I thought this tea was nice, but I'm not sure it made me sleepy. I think it's comparable to other sleepy-time or calming teas. I enjoyed the lavender flavor.

-
Darjeeling Puttabong Summer
I'm not an expert about different types of teas, but I did enjoy this. I was concerned that the tea would be weak because if the light color, but it was very flavorful. On my second cup, I added a thin sliced of lemon.
-

While hot, I was getting a lot of hibiscus flavor so I added some sugar. Then it just tasted like fruit punch. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't the experience I was looking for.
-

-
Citrus Mint Green
I thought it could use a bit more citrus, but the tea was still very delicious and refreshing. The mint was not overwhelming.
-
Decaf Mango

-
