decaf orange
by adagio teas
(18 reviews)Brisk decaf black tea, flavored with juicy oranges. Zesty orange rind dry notes, with hints of soft, sweet juice. A gentle, natural decaffeination process retains the delicate shape and flavor of the tea leaves. Steep at 212°F for 3 minutes

A great orange flavored black tea that I can enjoy anytime. I like to mix this with some decaf vanilla for a Creamsicle flavor.

Nice clean orange and black tea aroma from the packet. Beautiful large piece of orange peel. 90 sec @ 212. Still a nice orange smell, just a little less. Delicious and bright orange flavor, smooth , no bitterness or astringency noted. Since I do such a short steep to prevent bitterness, a second cup was just as flavorful as the first. I'm always surprised when I enjoy a black tea and I thought this was great.

i love having an orange flavored black tea that is decaf!! Great hot or cold brewed. Love cold brewing this with a fruity herbal. Yum!!

This tea smells and tastes great with some sweetener. The orange flavor complemented the black tea very well. (3 minutes at 200 degrees.)

Smells like sugary orange pop and steeps into a beautifully deep orange color. While hot the orange flavor hides behind the smooth black tea flavor, but comes out to play as the tea cools. It's not an overwhelming orange flavor, but nice and subtle and adding sweetener rounds the tea out into a lovely tea you can sip all day long. While not a bad blend, it's not particularly exciting by itself but I could see it providing a great base to add other fruit flavors to.

This is a yummy black tea with mild orange flavor. It is good for two steeps! I love that it’s decaf so I can indulge before bed.

If tea blends had Olympic competitions, this blend would take the orange, er gold, medal! It ticks all the boxes for me... flavorful, not bitter, decaf, good both hot and iced, good with/without sweetener, great for blending with other tea flavors, resteeps well. What's not to love?

I wanted to like this tea so badly but just couldn't get past the intense orange infusion. I think if it were a bit more subtle, it would marry with a black tea much better. The robustness of the black tea and intense orange fight against each other.

I've seen some reviews that suggest the orange flavor is very subtle but my experience has been the complete opposite! I found it to taste little more than hot orange drink mix with the faintest hint of black tea you could imagine.

Nice base tea with lots of flavor. Light astringency and no bitterness. Lovely aroma of oranges with a light taste of sweet orange.

The orange flavor isn’t very pronounced, but it is a nice citrus addition to the decaf teas that adagio has. Adding a little honey helps bring out the orange flavor a little more.

For me... not bad. Just not enough orange or black tea - just needed more of one or the other.

The dry smell is way stronger than the brewed smell, which is nice. Dry, it kinda smells like citrus chewing gum. Once brewed it is a lovely mellow scent. The initial taste is a strong black tea, but the orange has a very nice, soft note. This would be a great summertime black tea.

I got this as a sample, but it turns out I'm not a big fan of black tea with orange. The tea seems to be a fine quality and the orange and black tea have a good balance.

Good tea, especially for a decaf one. The orange is a little lighter than I'd like, but still a very tasty cup.
