lemon soleil
by adagio teas
(23 reviews)Lemon and tea seem made for each other. Adagio's Lemon Soleil tea combines the lively taste of bright and brisk Ceylon black tea with the tangy flavor of lemons. Fresh and sweet like Meyer lemons, with a crisp mouthfeel and clean, refreshing finish. This fresh version of this classic pairing will be sure to warm you up on a cold day or brighten your summer day iced! Steep at 212°F for 3 minutes

Nice lemon aroma from the dry tea leaves. 90 sec @ 165 then poured over ice. I was hoping for more lemon flavor. Not something I would add to my cart because of the caffeine, but others may like it more.

This is a delicious lemon black tea! The lemon flavor isn't too tart. I steep this for 3 minutes @ 195F to tone down the bitterness. I prefer sipping this iced with some vanilla sugar added.

I love the light lemony taste of this tea! The flavor compliments the black tea base perfectly. I usually add in some lemon verbena or a slice of fresh lemon to really make it pop, but it's awesome plain as well. Nice hot or cold. With a bit of stevia, or with nothing added. Just a nice all around tea!

The dry tea smells a bit like lemon tarts or light lemon pledge. Once brewed, it takes on a "specific herbal scent" that was bit startling at first. It was at this time that I actually looked at the ingredients and noted the "marigold flowers". I know from experience growing them that wet marigolds can emit that aforementioned scent.
The flavor is rather lovely. The lemon flavor is there and not too tart. I personally got "Froot Loops" from it which made me want to taste it with milk. Adding the milk makes that fruity cereal flavor stand out even more.

It's decent in blends and as an iced tea. It isn't strongly lemony, but that's good; too much and it tastes like Froot Loops.

Delicious lemony blend. The tea is flavorful and if steeped at a slightly lower temperature, smooth and not bitter. The lemon flavoring is really more like a Meyer lemon. It's almost sweet with none of the acidic tanginess of regular lemons.

I was surprised by how much I liked this tea, I don't normally add lemon. This was a little bit astringent, but most crisp and refreshing for a midday pick me up.

I find the lemon flavor too subtle in this black tea, as the Ceylon overpowers everything else. All I really taste is Ceylon. This seems to happen a lot with fruity black teas from Adagio, although there are plenty of exceptions. It's still not a bad tea, but not something I would buy again.

Smells stronger than it tastes. The lemon flavor comes off as a bit srtificial. Maybe if there were some lemon peels in it it'd be better.

A classic flavored black tea that smelled nice and was not bitter. However, I did find the lemon flavoring to be a bit artificial. You might be better off just squeezing a lemon into your favorite black tea. But overall, not bad!

In the bag, VERY strong lemon smell. Almost a lemon cleaner scent. It's very overpowering. i personally like it, though I see how it might be too much for someone. Once brewed, I can barely taste lemon. It's there, but not as expected from the scent in the bag. It's mostly just black tea.

Your standard lemon black tea, the aroma is nice and the flavor is balanced, the lemon complementing the black tea well.

The lemon in this isn’t quite strong enough for my taste... perhaps I’ll add a slice of fresh lemon to it next time. 🍋

I was very excited about this tea because I love black tea with lemon, but my sample had no lemon flavor. I may have gotten a bad blend. Either way, I was disappointed.

Such a great black tea. With cream and sugar it tastes like a light and fluffy cake

Like squeezing lemon into some tea, it's very convenient if you don't keep lemon on hand.

Delightfully reminiscent of lemon cake. Pairs nicely with a little milk and sugar

It tastes like a lemon bars!!! just an amazing cup of tea. Loved it with honey and milk....which is probably why it tasted like lemon bars and not just lemon tea.
