green rooibos key west
by adagio teas
(18 reviews)Green rooibos is a lighter bodied, un-oxidized version of the traditional "red tea." Its natural fruitiness is a perfect base for tropical flavors. Our Key West blend of sweet passionfruit, luscious mango and a hint of tangy apricot will whisk you away to the sunny shores and ocean breezes of Papa's paradise. Naturally caffeine-free for your "Sunset Celebration." Steep at 212°F for 5 minutes

I really really like this tea, it's so mildly fruity, unlike the usual tart fruit tisanes with hibiscus. After having my sample I'm putting it on my wishlist. 😍

I'm not a fan of the particular fruit flavors in this blend in terms of personal preference, but I'm reviewing this as if I'm someone who does. This blend is extremely fruity and would be incredible iced if you enjoy tropical fruit! The mango and apricot is strongest. Green rooibos is a good choice because red rooibos tastes more woody and nutty, whereas the green rooibos is more refreshing and acts more like a white or green tea and allows the fruit flavors to be more prominent. Probably not my choice hot, but would be very popular iced in summer.

Pleasant tropical fruit aroma from the packet. The roiboss looks more red than green. 5 min @ 212 brought out the smell of rooibos but needs a longer steep for my preferences. After 10 min the fruit aroma sneaks back in. There's some astringency and an aftertaste of apricot/mango but I prefer the stronger aroma and flavor of Honeybush Apricot.

Lovely fruit green rooibos blend. Great hot or cold-brewed. Nice aroma and taste...refreshingly sweet and fruity!

Nice fruity blend that is good sipped hot or cold. Addeing a little sweetener enhances the fruit flavors, although unable to pick out individual fruits. Very good tea.

Delicious tea! It's the fruity/floral version of the biscuity/cookie like Green Rooibos Bonita. It's a very herbal tea. Smells floral and light in the bag. Once brewed the fruit comes out a bit. As it cools, the taste gets milder. If you like green rooibos, you'll love this!

Spoiler: I hate rooibus (but I love Key West, so I wanted to like this one). This was far too weak. I steeped at 212 for 5 minutes, tasted nothing, steeped another 5 minutes. It was still mildly sweet hot water, that was about it. I've tried over 20 Adagio teas and love most of em, this one though was a no-go.

Passionfruit, mango, and apricot take a light and fruity rooibos base and elevate it to a gentle yet robust bombshell of flavor that doesn't overpower your tastebuds.

Green rooibos's sweet taste is the perfect base for these tropical flavors. Very nice!

Had this iced, and while it was a clean taste, it was just very weak. If you double the amount it’s better

A summery tea that works well hot or cold. Pairs very nicely with addition of a few hibiscus flowers. There is a subtle lime flavor, but it is quite subtle.

What a nice fruity tea! I loved that the green roobios was not overpowering and you could taste all the fruit. It made a great iced tea.

The tea was just too fruity for me! It over-powered the tea taste and provided a whole new flavor profile on its own. The passionfruit, mango, and apricot flavors were all very strong. Not my cup of tea, but I know others would like it more.
