watermelon cooler
by adagio teas
(39 reviews)Sweet, juicy and refreshing - these are the thoughts that come to mind when thinking of watermelon. Sips of our Watermelon Cooler will invoke the same delightful sensations. The sweetness of watermelon and the lively notes of cranberries and hibiscus when iced make this a perfect poolside treat. Add a pinch of mint or a twist of lime to create a tasty watermelon mocktail. Steep at 212°F for 5-10 minutes

This is a light, refreshing tea! Using less water and adding some sweetener, you can taste the watermelon flavor.

A very light and refreshing tea. This would be wonderful as an iced tea, but as a hot tea, it still tasted great. Just enough of a watermelon flavor to know its there, but it is not overpowering at all. I can't wait to have a second cup!

This was actually delicious! And I had it hot (most peoople say it's better cold). I did get the Jolly Rancher vibe, but it was refreshing rather than overpoweing. This was a really good balance of flavors. I can't wait to try this one iced!

In my CommuniTEA packet, I found mostly apples pieces followed by a very light sprinkle of hibiscus, rose hip, and raspberry leaf. I considered adding a wee bit more raspberry leaf to the mix from my stash, but opted to give this tea a fair try. The scent is of the dry tea is vaguely sweet.
Looking at other reviews as the suggest brew time is such a large gap, I opted to brew this tea closer to the 10 minute mark at 212F. It ended up brewing into a nice purple-red hue. I found that it loses its scent once it is brewed. If you drink it hot, you won't get as much of the watermelon flavor. It started popping out more as I let it cool. It definitely has a "summer as a kid" vibe going on.

I don't usually enjoy watermelon flavored things...except for actual watermelon :) But....this tea was a pleasant surprise! Very tasty! Cold brews like a dream! Also good hot, which was another surprise for me! Yum!

I cold brewed this tea and added a few chunks of watermelon toward the end of the brew. It was refreshing and delicious!

This was meant to be taken iced imo. Hot watermelon's a little weird for me, but if you like it that way I'm not about to judge.
That said, it has a strong watermelon flavor and makes a really nice cup of iced tea.

This is a super refreshing light and fruity tea that is best cold brewed. The perfect summertime treat!

This one is weird when brewed hot. Just kind of strange. Really nice and refreshing cold, though! Great summer time tea.

This is one of my favorites to ice and sweeten all year long and to mix with Wild Strawberry from Adagio as well. Seriously this is one of the best teas. To me the watermelon isn't that strong but there is just something so unique and yummy about this tea.

This is great cold. It doesn't really taste like watermelon to me. It's not great hot.

Quite sweet and a little tart. Tastes just like watermelon! Light and refreshing, even hot.

I got a portions sample of this as part of a promo for Adagio's communiTEA, and I was not expecting it to be as good as it is. It's very light and refreshing, I only wish I'd tried it sooner and got a bigger pack.

This tea is delicious but mild in flavor. To remedy this, I steeped for 20-25 minutes and it worked pretty well.
EDIT: this makes a *fantastic* iced tea!

Such a refreshing cup! It’s one of the ones I go to even when I’m craving hot tea in the summer, because it is so fruity and light.

This is my favorite Adagio tea. I am an avid herbal tea drinker, and this is the pinnacle of a refreshing iced tea. Better cold than hot. Doesn't taste too much like watermelon, but has a light, fruity taste (more apple than watermelon). Lovely color. Just plain god!

This was bland for me. I was hoping for a clean watermelon taste and I just did not get that from this tea.

I got this as a free sample. I love adagio but hated this tea. It was so weak, I doubled the amount and used less water and still the flavor was barely there. What was there was an artificial taste, of what I don't know, it didn't take like watermelon.

Not my cup of tea. Not good at all. I hate the artificial watermelon flavor and the hint of mint makes it even worse

What I can taste of it is pleasant, but the flavour is really, really mild. I feel like I ate a watermelon jolly rancher half an hour ago. I might try again with a longer steep time, and maybe some mint as suggested, but overall it doesn't wow me.

No no no no I won't recommend this tea to any one. it does not have watermelon taste or smell.

This isn't my favorite watermelon tea, but it's still really great! It has an excellent balance of flavors. I recommend it iced with a little bit of sugar.

You know those bags of starburst red jelly beans? Yea, that's what this tastes like to me.

This only has a faint watermelon flavor; I think it gets overwhelmed by the hibiscus and rosehips. It is refreshing when it's iced and really nice with a little bit of agave syrup added, so I may buy it again for the summer months but I do wish the watermelon flavor was more present.

Delicious iced! Can’t wait to try it hot, as well... when it’s not 90 degrees outside 😆

I didn't like it at first, but the more I drank it the better I liked it. Tastes good hot and cold.

This herbal tea is very refreshing and delicious and the watermelon flavor comes through nicely. This makes for the perfect iced tea during the summer!
