  • White Strawberry Basil

Not my favourite, but not a bad tea by any means. Unsure if it was just my sample, but I had hardly any white tea leaves in the bag - it was mostly basil and strawberry/hibiscus. When brewed, it tasted more like basil and strawberry-hibiscus infused water than a tea, with the vanilla coming through at the end. A little tart, a lot herby. Better hot or iced, warm or room temp was not ideal.

  • Blueberry

A light, gentle taste. There was no bitterness and it was naturally quite sweet with distinct blueberry notes. I think this would be good blended with an oolong, or maybe even the almond oolong. I brewed it hot twice and then let it cool overnight and it was a very refreshing iced tea in the morning.

  • Decaf Blueberry

Lighter than I expected but holds up well to a second brew. The blueberry flavour is prominent and the tea tastes almost exactly how it smells in the bag, which was a lovely experience. A very enjoyable tea, did not require any sweetener or milk and there was no bitterness even though I let it steep much longer than I probably should have. Excellent both iced and hot.

  • Caramel

This tea needed cream and sugar for me. I'm usually a straight tea drinker but I found this a little too bitter with very subtle caramel flavour without cream/sugar. The additions definitely play a role in enhancing the caramel flavour and contribute to a cozier cuppa. Lowering the water temperature did help take some of the bitterness edge off.

  • Earl Grey Green

Earl Grey is typically one of my go-to black teas, but Earl Grey Green just did not do it for me. There is a nice blending of grassiness and bergamot citrus but something about the green tea and earl grey flavours did not hit the same. It is very likely a personal preference, however.

  • Irish Breakfast

Smooth and robust, a classic Irish breakfast tea that blends beautifully with other kinds of teas if so desired. Very solid base for tea blends and by itself.

  • Ceylon Sonata

Classic basic black tea. I tend to blend it with other teas as well as it is a good base for mixing.

  • Summer Rose

One of my favourite rose teas. The brightness of the Ceylon compliments well and the rose comes through beautifully.
