yin hao jasmine
(2 reviews)This exceptional scented Yin Hao Jasmine starts with a very flavorful Pouchong (an almost green tea). For seven nights fresh Jasmine flowers are layered into the tea. The dry tea leaves steal the floral essence and preserve it for your pleasure. Dry Leaves: Elegant curls of green and white leaves. There is the occasional dried jasmine flower. Liquor: A light and clear liquor that is tinged a pale yellow. Aroma: A heady aroma of Jasmine that lightens your mood. Caffeine Level: Caffeinated Body: This is a medium bodied tea. Since it is a mixture of green leaf and white tip, it has some heft. Flavors: On top of the mild vegetal flavors, the flavor of fresh Jasmine arises. Brewing Time: 2 to 3 minutes Brewing Temperature: 175° F

I love jasmine teas and this one is delightful both hot or over ice. It is one of my favorite 'end-of-the-day' teas for its sweet, light floral flavor. Steeped 3 minutes at 170 degrees.

My introduction to Yin Hao jasmine, one of my favorite teas. It's not quite as complex as some others I've tried, but quite enjoyable.
