mango green

(25 reviews)An ancient Hindu legend recounts the story of the mango tree growing from the ashes of the sun princess, who had been incinerated by an evil sorceress. When the mango ripened and fell, the beautiful princess emerged again. Our Mango Green tea combines the vegetal goodness of green tea with the flavor of perfectly ripened mangoes. Juicy texture, with floral aromatics and sweetness. Sun princess sold separately. Steep at 180°F for 2-3 minutes

A nice green tea with a mango/peach flavor. It is not particularly mango to me, just a generic stonefruit flavor. But it's pretty good...would probably be good iced as well!

This is a good green tea, but the mango is light in flavor. I like to add a little mango powder (Selefina) to enhance the mango flavor. I prefer to drink this iced.

The mango is very subtle, so if you want an overt flavor you might want to choose a different variety. However, if you want an intensely "green tasting" green tea with some subtle fruit flavor, and not be knocked out by a scent when you brew it, this is a good choice. Calm and flavorful but not too "fruity".

The light sweet flavor of mango blends nicely with the green tea. I'm not big on green tea, but this was a nice cup of tea.

This is a nice green tea that I steeped at 175 degrees for 3 minutes and added honey. It doesn’t really taste like mango, but still good.

This mango flavored green tea is mild in both the mango flavor and also the grassiness. Adding monk fruit sweetener helped draw out the mango flavor though. I suspect cold brewing may bring it out even more.

A juicy green tea with pleasantly fruity accents permeating the earth-sweet notes. A bit of acacia honey lent a pleasant vanilla infusion to the overall blend. Will definitely be sipping this one again!

My husband loves this iced with a little agave nectar added. He says it reminds him of a green tea he likes at a local restaurant that uses a crazy amount of sugar, which he is trying to avoid.

This one was weak tasting @ 1tsp/3 min./180. No mango detected. Second time I used 2 tsp. and it was still weak. No apparent mango flavor, just a hint of sweetness. More like an herbal tea than a green tea. Would not buy again.

One of my favorite teas. I have tried all of their peach and mango teas in green, black, oolong, and white, and this is my favorite. The softness of the green tea pairs nicely with the mango. The mango flavor is more subtle than peach. The flavor is more natural.

This blend has a strange, mouthfeel that coats the tongue, almost like a syrup. Everything else about the experience is pleasant enough but I can't get past the perceived thickness of the liquor.

What a delightfully refreshing tea! Nothing is terribly overpowering, and overall, it could reasonably be called "inoffensive" which seems like criticism through faint praise, but I really really enjoy this! Nothing overpowers and it's just very pleasant to sip

This had the distinctive flavor and texture of mango mochi. There was a sort of rice flour vibe somewhere in it, but dang is it tasty.

Light, moderately astringent green tea with a dry finish. The mango isn't overpowering and adds a nice, sweet fruity flavor.

This is a pleasant tea, good flavor. I took mine with honey. I'll probably try sugar, next time.

One of my new favorite green teas! I had it iced, and it’s refreshing and delicious. Even steeping all night the mango 🥭 was not overwhelmed by the green tea, which is so often the case. Highly recommended!

A wonderful blend of green tea and fruity flavors. The mango comes out nicely.
