raspberry green
by adagio teas
(28 reviews)Raspberry Green is a blend of fresh, crisp green tea from China with sweetly tart red raspberry flavor. Very candy-like aroma, delicately tangy and jammy raspberry taste. Clean finish and rounded texture. This fun, juicy Raspberry Green tea is tangy in the cup, without getting too 'cheeky'. Steep at 180°F for 2-3 minutes

The tea's aroma is raspberry, and strong. You can't say the same about its taste, though. It tastes like nothing, only the aftertaste is raspberry. How sad. Maybe it would be better coldbrewed.

I'm not much of a green tea fan, and this tea was pretty much a miss for me. The tea is a bit too grassy for me and the raspberry taste is just to light for my tastes. I'm sure green tea lovers really like this one though! just not my cuppa tea.

This is at its best when iced. Taking it cold cuts down on the grassiness of the green base. Even better if you throw some actual raspberries in the pitcher.

A lovely raspberry flavored green tea. And the green tea doesn't overpower the raspberry. This is good iced.

Adagio's raspberry teas all taste delicious; however, the green base is probably the most enjoyable version because the base tea has a great flavor but is not so dominant that the raspberry is pushed to the background. Instead the flavors are nicely balanced.

Smooth, light, well balance green tea with tart and fruity raspberry notes. Not cloying, but I did feel like it needed a little sweetener to really bring out the fruit flavors in the tea.

I just adore the flavored green tea served hot and iced. For hot I steep 3 minutes at 195 Temp and sweetener to bring out the mild raspberry flavor for the delicate buttery green tea. Served Iced, I cold brew in refrigerator overnight about 8-11 hours. I use sweetener to bring out the semi earthy, fruity and smooth and mellow taste.

The green tea is delicious and indeed, crisp. The raspberry is a little subtle but present and the rose is hinted as the tea cools.

The berries were notable right from the start, could smell them even in the dried tea. I cold brewed this and added a little Stevia for sweetness. Delicious green tea taste with a raspberry jam like finish.

A solid green tea with a mild raspberry flavor. That fruit flavor is there, but I really wish it were more pronounced- I'd have this on reorder if it was! As the brew cools, the rose can be detected as well, but again it's very. subtle. I add a little sugar, and that def helps bring the raspberry flavor through a little.

This was good, but not great tea. I added a little raw honey and enjoyed the taste. (2-1/2 minutes at 180 degrees.)

The raspberry says a bright hello when dry, but seems to have left the party early once steeped. This could just be because of the CommuniTEA portioning having missed the raspberry pieces (I had one tiny piece about the size of a grain of rice) or maybe this isn't a very strongly flavored blend overall. I cold brewed this one based on previous reviews and it's a great green tea that very refreshing cold. There was a hint of raspberry flavor, but mostly vegetal notes from the green tea were tasted. I'd be willing to buy a larger portion just to see if I get more raspberry flavor because I enjoyed the sample enough as is.

My first introduction to green tea and its a keeper. Rasberry adds a zing to the green for me.

This is delicious cold brewed. The raspberry and subtle and light without being overpowering.

I'm not big on green teas, but I made this iced and added some muddled raspberries. Not bad!

Strong raspberry aroma, but delicate raspberry flavor. A little sweetener brings the raspberry forward. The flavor also becomes stronger as it cools. No rose flavor noted. Very good sipped hot or chilled.

I am a fan of fruity green tea and this is no exception. A bit of green tea honey from Adagio brought out more fruitiness.

Nicely flavored green tea. The tea is smooth and has a nice full body for a green. The raspberry flavor is a little tart and very fruity. Nice fruity aroma.

More fruity than green, but it works pretty well. The base is nice and mellow, letting the raspberry flavor shine through.

Very tasty. I didn’t feel like I was drinking green tea at all. No grassiness but just the taste of sweet raspberries.

Raspberries are one of my favorites. I love the tartness. This tea was very mild on that flavor. Tasted more of just the green tea wish it had more flavor for my liking

raspberries for me are a memory of living in oregon and picking my own... at 5 am with sun coming up... like rubies... so sweet so beautiful and a GREAT adagio tea

I have good childhood memories involving raspberry green tea so this blend gives me the warm fuzzies.

One of my favorite loose leaf green teas! The balance of tart raspberry and crisp green tea is perfect, with the raspberry dominating just slightly. Excellent hot or iced!

I bought this in a sampler of Orchard Green Teas from Adagio, and this was the one I was least interested in. However, as soon as I opened it, it smelled amazing, and the taste was also delicious. The raspberry is strong and fragrant, and sort of covers the green flavor a bit, so I can see how that might not be for everyone. I loved it, though, and the subtle addition of rose petals here and there really rounds it out.
