vanilla
by adagio teas
(24 reviews)According to the International Ice Cream Association, Vanilla is by far the most popular flavor, getting a full 23% of all ice cream consumption. Inspired by this love, Adagio created Vanilla Black Tea, combining the rich, warm, sugar aroma of Vanilla with bright Ceylon black tea. Soothing, sweet and very 'beany' Vanilla fragrance, like warm sugar cookies made with fresh Vanilla beans. Steep at 212°F for 3 minutes

Black teas straight aren't for me. I don't add milk and sugar to my tea so they're usually too bitter and astringent. This had a nice vanilla scent and I brewed it at 160 for 3 minutes so it wouldn't be bitter. There was a hint of vanilla flavor and enough astringency that I added milk to finish it.

If you like Vanilla milkshakes or surger cookie, then you will enjoy adagio's Vanilla black tea hot or iced Latte. The special tea goes very well with many other tea that adagio has to offer.

This tea is excellent brewed by itself, or a great base tea for a blend. The vanilla flavor doesn't overpower the black tea, but blends with it. I really like this tea brewed with the Cream black tea from Adagio -- so good!!

Continuing thru my portions packet came across vanilla. It was a bit light on the vanilla. I will try this tea again, maybe varying the temp and a little sugar,1/4 tsp

A solid vanilla base for your own additions or to fill out another flavored tea. Vanilla is a bit light overall

It's useful in a lot of blends, adding a sweet, creamy note to fruity or chocolatey teas. Don't really care much for it on its own though.

A favorite for blending with other teas to add a subtle sweetness and creaminess to the tea. No bitterness when steeped at lower temps (190°F).

I like the subtle vanilla flavour of this tea, especially as someone who drinks almost all tea black, as this gives it a slight sweet edge but not too much.

I’m not a big fan of adagio vanilla, sorry adagio I love most of what you do, but this is not my fave.

Very subtle vanilla tasted more like a black tea. Got it more fro baking short bread cookies infused with tea

I was hoping for a more intense vanilla taste based on what I smelled, but it's tasty. Better mixed with something like strawberry than on its own.

Just like the vanilla green, the vanilla flavor in this doesn't agree with me. Its tastes very medicinal, which is a shame because I love vanilla flavor.

I ordinarily don't like flavored teas, but this one is fabulous! I use it alone or use it to add a bit of flavor to other black teas I like.

I got a sample of this with my last order. It's a solid tea, a little bit astringent with some sweetness of the vanilla. A good, standard option

A simple, standard flavor of black tea - perfect for vanilla lovers who want a tasty but not overly potent tea
