Our new Black cherry tea is an upgrade from our previous with softer rose notes, and a more defined fruitiness. We lightened up the Sri Lankan black tea base with the playful tanginess of rose hips, and the deep cherry sweetness is kept in balance with a touch of juicy, grounding blackberry. Still decadent but decidedly less syrupy, we invite you to try it anew. Iced, it is refreshing and delightful. Served hot, with a splash of cream, it is decadent and dreamy.

Whoa the rose hit me from the packet. So I had to pick the rose petals out, and I didn't have any cherry that I could tell. 90 sec @ 165 so it would be light. No overwhelming rose, some fruitiness, but not much on the cherry front.

The cherry was nice here, not medicinal like some cherry can be, the rose in my portion was a perfect balance.

This has a strong flavor of cherry, almost medicinal. I like to sip this mixed with a vanilla or chocolate tea.

I would like this tea better without the rose petals, but a tasty cherry flavored black tea. I usually blend with vanilla. Tasty tea!

I can tell you right off the bat that I generally can't stand cherry flavored things. That said, I did my best to give this CommuniTEA packet a fair trial.
As soon as I opened the packet, my nose was assaulted with a strong "Robitussin" scent that turned my stomach a little. There still remained a scent of "children's cough syrup" even after brewing. I literally could not hover too close to my mug because of the smell.
I took a sip and immediately said "NOPE". The flavor plus scent makes this way too cough syrupy for me.
I'm giving this three stars because I was able to pawn it off on my husband with enough sugar added.

I think I remember hearing somewhere a year or two ago that this blend had been revamped to taste less like cherry cough drops, and I can say the effort has really come through. I thoroughly enjoyed this tea in its current iteration

I enjoyed this cup of tea with some added rock sugar and I found the cherry taste to be subtle and pleasant. I must disclose that I have always loved cherry cough drops, however!

I don't know what the original tasted like but this version had more rose than cherry in my portion packet. I had to add honey to get the cherry flavor.

It's not really an upgrade imo. Seems like Adagio was trying to breathe new life into a less-popular flavor, but eh. Still tastes like cough syrup to me.

This rosy cherry tea is great with a splash of milk and a sugar cube. The rose comes through quite strongly and the cherry flavor is easily detectable too.
