Almond Cardamom Cake
A perfect confection in a cup. The flavor notes are sweet and warming, and the almond is quite present sometimes reminding me of marzipan. I especially like it with a bit of cream which it handles very well. Don't brew it for too long as the cardamom pods can release a camphor like taste. I also like this with a splash of cream over ice as an alternative to a chai latte.
