passionfruit

(14 reviews)Our Passionfruit black tea artfully combines the pleasantly sweet tropical flavor of a fresh Passionfruit with the bright, lively taste of Ceylon black tea. Rich and heavy fruit-floral aroma. Sweet and very fruity flavor, lifted by the natural citrusy quality of Ceylon tea. Balanced astringency and slightly dry finish. All qualities that make this an excellent iced tea, too. So, if you're passionate about great flavored teas, look no further. Steep at 212°F for 3 minutes

Not one of my favorites. I don't mind this tea blended with other teas, but it lacks much fruit flavor. Not one I would buy, but nice blended with other teas when I do have some on hand.

The passionfruit is delightfully sweet. I got a packet of this in a mystery box and I might have to order some! Brewed at 190 degrees to cut the bitterness.

This was nice, not as tart as I'd like a passionfruit to be personally but I can't complain. I recommend brewing this a little under temperature to avoid some extra bitterness.

The flavor was good, I just wish there was more of it. The passionfruit itself didn't taste artificial at all, which is a big deal to me. A little bit stronger flavor and I would've given 5 stars.

I really enjoyed this tea. It was a great start to an otherwise decent day, so my morning cup really stood out. It's comparable to cranberry black tea, though the latter is a little better.

The dry tea had a strong, fruity flavor. Reminded me of Fruit and Cream Oatmeal for some reason - in a good way. When fresh brewed and hot I couldn't taste any passion fruit or other fruity notes. As it cooled the sweet, fruity taste started coming out of the woodwork. I believe this tea would make a good iced tea, as it seems the fruity flavor is strongest when cool. A pretty good tea hot. A little too astringent for my liking, but the fruity taste stood out nicely. I think this is one best served iced and lightly sweetened.
