keemun rhapsody
by adagio teas
(12 reviews)Black tea from the Anhui province of China. Perhaps the most famous of Chinese varieties, prized for its rich, toasty flavor, mineral flinty notes and smoky, sometimes incense aroma. Our Keemun Rhapsody is a complex showing of an excellent quality Keemun. Toasty, biscuity aroma with a browned apple sweetness. Earthy fruit flavor, notes of aromatic lychee fruit. Lingering perfumy smokiness long after the cup is finished.
Steep at 212°F for 3-5 minutes

I don't like it. It's very bitter even with sugar. I didn't get any of the description flavors either, just smoke.

A great basic black tea. Rich and smooth with no bitterness. This could easily become a staple in my cabinet.

un te complejo de aroma tostado a bísquet con sabor a fruta terrosa se pueden apreciar notas minerales en el retro gusto muy deliciosas

It is good hot. But not so much cold. I liked my first cup, but quickly tired of the taste; by my third cup I decided it wasn't really for me.

It's a decent tea - nothing wrong with it and is a fine choice for plain black tea. But there are just better ones, and I don't like that it's very broken up and a bunch makes it through the tiniest diffuser holes. Just really plain earthy tea, probably a good base if you make your own blends.

This has a sweet roasted or toasted black tea fragrance. The flavor is likewise, strong roasted or toasted and maybe a little smoky. I didn't get any astringency. I added a little sugar and was reminded of a sweetened seaweed and barley dessert I enjoy.

It's good, but I think I prefer the regular Keemun/English Breakfast one. For the price increase, I didn't notice much difference.

I love black teas with earthy/mineral notes, so this is one of my favorites. Great hot or cold-brewed. Just a lovely plain black tea.

Just a nice, strong black tea. It doesn't need anything added to it, though sometimes I do take it with a bit of sugar.
