It's okay. This is my first bag of non-loose leaf chai, and I feel like it almost has an licoricey anise like flavor to it, even though there's no mention of anise. It's peppery and heavy on the cloves, which I like, but otherwise lacks flavor and tastes very watery. The nose is extremely strong and the taste is just okay.

Is too heavy on the cinnamon. While my husband loves this tea, I can't stand it. I like the Bigelow Vanilla Chai blend better, it is much mellower with just as much warmth. The Bigelow blend does not have that saccharine medicinal aftertaste from that much cinnamon like this one has.

My favorite Chai of all time, honestly haven't had a ton of them, but this one is my Sam Adams of tea.

Much better than their standard chai, which tastes like hot water with a hint of spices. Still not as good as loose tea, but it'll do in a pinch.

Another of my backup buys when I run out of premium. I like it , its more complex than the regular but frankly it wont come close to blowing your socks off. If you want that you are are going to have to pay for it. Try David's Saigon Chai or Adiago's Windy City Chai for that experience

The original version isn't even worth my time when the ultra spice is around. The spices are balanced with one another while not being overpowering in the context of a proper chai with milk and sugar.
