I liked this tea much more than I expected to. I'm not a big fan of fruity or citrusy teas, but the matcha rounds out the flavor quite nicely. I don't know that I would seek this tea out, but I'll happily drink it if it's available.

I'm surprised at how much I like this! The matcha is a more earthy kind of green tea, which I think blends really nicely with the flavors of yerba mate. Then grapefruit is a more earthy/bitter kind of citrus, but it really brightens it up. I find I don't need to add any sweetener to this one.

This tea is a little too busy. It may be personal preference, but I think Yerba Mate has a great flavor on its own that is thrown off by things like citrus

Perfect blend for me. It brews up to a dark yellow, cloudy cup with a hint of green. The aroma of grapefruit is lovely and invigorating. The taste of grapefruit comes through but is not overpowering. Mate and tea are blended together to make a very smooth mouthfeel with a bit of astringency to finish the sip. Very clean tasting with no grassy flavors. I've found a new favorite!

I was surprised that I liked this. I don't have much experience with matcha or mate, but I made this iced with milk and it ended up tasting very good. I like the citrusy note mixed with the green. It works.

Admittedly, the mate seems like a strange add-in to this; I love citrusy matcha, but the mate was a bit too strong in this for my liking.

I like this tea a lot, it's a bright and invigorating. The grapefruit isn't too pronounced in that this tea isn't overtly citrusy, but rather gives this a little zing that balances against the grassiness of the matcha and mate.

This was just alright. An interesting and creative combo, just not executed right.
