Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra), whose genus name is appropriately derived from the Greek words meaning "sweet root", is used worldwide as a flavoring for foods, beverages and assorted confections. However, as early as the third century B.C., herbalists valued the beneficial properties licorice root had to offer, traditionally using the herb to support upper respiratory health.

      I tried this tea and wish I had read the reviews before I tried it. It was horrible have a wired licorice taste. I took about 4 sips and was done

      Undrinkable. I’ve tried numerous temperatures and time combinations and could not get this palatable enough to drink.

      Very strong licorice taste is a weird combination of sweet and savory and minty or fresh tasting. Not for everyday but a good change.

      I was recommended this tea by a friend for stomach pains and it helped. Didn't taste all that good but hey helped the pains.

      Bad taste, I do not like the earthy sweetness of licorice root.
