Blended in late summer when the roses are in full bloom and at their most fragrant, Rose Petal Black, also known as ‘Meigui Hong Cha’, combines rich Keemun tea and red rose petals. Keemun is a small leaf tea from the Qimen county of Anhui province, best known as the main ingredient for English Breakfast blends.
Although there is a whole universe of rose varieties and flavors, we believe the ideal petals for combining with Keemun come from the red roses native to Qimen county. They have a distinct sweet, cooling aroma that lends great balance to the blend.
Rose Petal Black pairs well with rich and slightly spicy foods. It also makes a delicious iced tea. One of our favorite recipes is to prepare a sauce from Rose Petal Black and serve it over vanilla ice cream.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised when we gave this a see, sniff and sip. A wonderful blend of rose and black tea. Not overwhelming in the aroma or taste. The mouthfeel was amazing. I have purchased this fantastic tasting tea a number of times and will always return for more.

One of my favorite rose teas. It's floral and fragrant, needing absolutely nothing in the way of sweetener to help it along, but not so rosy that it feels like you're drinking soap.

I enjoyed this tea. The aroma was amazing right off the bat. I did add a little honey to sweeten it. The flavors of the floral notes were delicious
