A unique black tea from Kenya, grown at high elevations in the beautiful Nandi Hills. The hand-picked, twisted black leaves brew to a satisfying, medium-bodied lightly brisk cup that is a lovely clear copper color. You'll savor the nuances of slight smoke and subtle fruit. This is a tea you'll enjoy plain or with an added splash of milk. Most teas from Kenya are manufactured using the CTC or crush, tear and curl method which is used in tea bags. We were fortunate enough to find a garden where the tea is manufactured using the Orthodox or traditional method of processing, with a focus on top quality leaves and buds that produce robust flavor.
