spring himalayan orange
Last year we carried a Himalayan Orange. Orange here refers to the size of the leaf as well as the color of the liquor. It’s produced year round but this year we wanted to offer a spring crop. It yields many of the fruity aromas of a second flush Darjeeling with a much softer and nuanced body, due to the spring harvest. We actually had a bidding war to get our Nepalese teas this year, so we are extra pleased to share this with you. We use the term Spring here as the manufacturer prefers to approach their teas from a more holistic view, rather than looking at shorter windows of "1st flush" and "2nd flush".
