master's mark sencha
(1 review)The Japanese palate is well attuned to subtlely. Senchas have many similar characteristics of steamed vegetal flavors, but there can be significant differences. Scent of Mountain or Matsuda's Sencha are very aromatic, however this one is very delicate. That is what the judges liked when they gave it an award as a great tea. Dry Leaves: The leaves are small but more complete than most senchas. That is because this award winning tea was made from young leaves that had been handpicked (very rare in Japan.) Liquor: Being from young leaves that have been hand picked, the liquor is pale green. Aroma: This sencha is more delicate and subtle than most. The vegetal notes are lighter and more haunting. Caffeine Level: Caffeinated Body: No Flavors: No Brewing Time: 1 to 2 minutes Brewing Temperature: 160° F

I was really excited for this tea but it didn't really stand out from a normal sencha
