japanese sencha
(6 reviews)We call this Japanese Sencha because not all Sencha sold is from Japan. This is a nice blend of teas from the central Shizuoka province, and it is a very pleasant everyday tea. In fact our Founder, John Harney, started everyday with this green tea.

Delicious. This tea has a strong umami flavor and grassy flavor. This is exactly what I like in a tea.

This was delicious! Buttery, vegetal, nutty, and not the least bit bitter. I got a sample of this with an order and loved it. I will be buying a tin of this for sure! The price is very decent, too.

Sample pack had a fresh, grassy, green scent. Tea had a grassy and mildly bitter flavor. Pretty traditional Japanese green tea.

Very grassy, very strong. Not bad at all. Sort of seaweed-like. Not necessarily complex taste, but good green tea taste. Sweet and clean.

I got a sampler of this a while back and im thinking there is a chance it went bad maybe. I got the strangest aftertaste from mine. Im not sure intial flavor seemed to be just fine as is. That aftertaste kind of ruined it for me.

This has a lot of vegital notes to the tea. Personally, I am not a huge fan of this tea. For me it is okay and I will finish out my container, but probably won't get it again
