viennese earl grey
(4 reviews)This blend is perhaps the most famous tea in the world, it was inspired by the British Prime Minister, Earl Grey. There are as many different versions of this as there are tea companies. Viennese Earl Grey inspired by our friend's tea shop in Vienna. It has a Darjeeling tea base, so it is lighter than others. Dry Leaves: Dark brown leaves with small green pieces. Liquor: Dark peach, brown. Aroma: Subtle fruity notes overlaid by the lemony bergamot. Caffeine Level: Caffeinated Body: Medium. Flavors: Lemony flavors predominate this tea. Brewing Time: 4 to 5 minutes Brewing Temperature: 212° F

This tea is lovely! The bergamot is clear without being overwhelming or bitter.

This brews up a light but deeply flavored cup. Its lemon forward with typical Darjeeling notes following.
